About Us

Started in the early 1970’s by Cornelius Peters, the patriarch took over and continued the craft from an elder artisan in the village of Schanzenfeld and eventually, Cornelius moved away from the original materials of concrete and glass to granite and continued to update their products with new styles and techniques to modernize the art of creating enduring memorials.

Son Peter grew up working with his father in the shop and apprenticed for 15 years with Cornelius before purchasing and taking on the family operation in 2000.

More than 20 years later, Peter is continuing the tradition of providing personal quality memorials, as his son Tim works and learns the trade while working with his father in the shop.

Now, their process of creating memorials continues to incorporate new techniques like laser etching of scenery and portraits.

And after decades of service, Peter explains it’s humbling and an honour to serve families as they seek closure, helping them remember their loved ones’ life stories with standard, unique, and custom memorials.

Their part in the journey doesn’t just end with the finished memorial, they are always “just a call away” to refurbish and help level memorials that need some extra care even years later.
